Marta Filippini

Marta is a marine biologist and ecologist dedicated to ocean conservation. Her work spans coral restoration, whale shark research and zooplankton studies, giving her a broad understanding of the ecosystems she strives to protect. She has contributed to shark and zooplankton research projects in South Africa and Madagascar, and is also trained as a whale watching and snorkelling guide and coral restoration diver.

In addition to her scientific background, Marta works internationally as tour guide, combining academic expertise with a passion for exploration and education. Deeply in love with the ocean’s critters, Marta never misses a chance to swim and discover what is underwater. Always smiling and endlessly curious, she brings energy, expertise, and heartfelt dedication to every project and expedition she joins.
