Dr. Anita Lundberg

Anita is a cultural anthropologist with over thirty years of experience in Indonesia and the Malay Archipelago. Anita has been fortunate to travel extensively, and her research and adventure trips have taken her to many islands of Indonesia and she has undertaken ethnographic fieldwork in remote parts of the country. She has experienced how maritime trade cultures are connected around the world and how these connections can be shown through nature, art, science, human-animal environments, and material culture (architecture, boat building, weaving). She has been a professor in Australia and Singapore, and now lives in Bali.
