Everyone and anyone, really. We have hosted charter guests from all walks of life looking for pleasure, adventure and that something different: snorkelling, adventure, bird watching, yoga, team building, photography, spice trade tours, cultural tours, naturalist tours, culinary tours, water sports, colonial history, TV & media, scientific research, or simply taking a relaxing cruise through the islands under a hot tropical sun on a sleek and beautiful sailing vessel, you call the shots.
We cruise across the archipelago all the way from Borneo to Papua in the west and east and Sumba and Maluku in the south and north, following the seasons and the winds, and staying one step ahead of the rains so as to provide optimum cruising conditions for our guests.
We have ample on-board facilities and activities to help you and your guests unwind and get the most out of this tropical playground, including snorkelling, swimming, kayaking, fishing, paddle boarding, or simply lazing in the sun with a good book. For specialised pursuits we are happy to arrange for any kind of activities such as cooking classes, free-diving, rock climbing, kite surfing, wakeboarding, etc. Simply ask and we will do our level best to accommodate any wishes.
Our boats are the ideal family environment, and we are happy to accommodate children of all ages.
Our two wooden pinisi ships, the 12-cabin / 24 passenger Ombak Putih and the 6-cabin / 12 passenger Katharina, are part of a beautiful, centuries-old maritime tradition of hand-crafted boat building now classified as a UNESCO cultural heritage. Built by the highly skilled seafaring peoples of Sulawesi, using hand tools and traditional methods of construction, the design of these gaff-rigged ketches has been adapted and passed down from father to son for centuries.
Our boats are outfitted with up-to-date safety equipment and communications technology, and equipped with high-quality tenders, kayaks, stand-up-paddle boards and snorkelling gear. All cabins are located below decks and offer all the necessary amenities, including double beds or twin bunks, private en-suite bathrooms, lots of natural light, individually controlled air-conditioning, ample storage space, and plenty of electrical and USB outlets.
Check out for more details and a photo gallery of both boats in this link. (Read more about Our Ships)
Both boats are fully crewed and there will be one or two English-speaking SeaTrek tour leaders on board to look after you. All our on-board staff are Indonesian, so you will get to experience some wonderful local hospitality as we show you Indonesia through Indonesian eyes.
If you would like to add a specialist such as a personal chef, a yoga or free diving instructor, or even a marine biologist or naturalist, simply let us know.
We like to provide our guests with a full and final price for their charter bookings, free from hidden costs and with as few supplements as possible. These are based on a 24-hour day with six hours of cruising a day, full board with professional tour leaders and crew, all food and beverage (except alcohol), park fees, water sports, and all taxes and service charges. Tariffs vary accordingly in cruising areas due to the substantially larger costs of operating in eastern Indonesia.
Contact us to discuss final pricing.
We do charge for beer, wines and spirits but at a very low cost so as not to break the bank. Guests are welcome to bring their own alcohol on board at no extra cost. Clients must cover flights to and from embarkation points and extra fuel surcharge may apply if clients wish to include multiple areas or long journeys that require a major repositioning of the boat. Tips and domestic flights are also not included, but we will happily make all domestic flight arrangements and hotels on your behalf.
