-Waking up early in the morning, we will go ashore just as the sun rises for a trekking in the hopes that we will be able to spot Komodo dragons roaming around in their natural environment. These giant lizards, the largest living lizards in the world, are endemic to Indonesia and can only be found in the five islands of the National Park.
-At noon, we will be snorkelling in a magnificent coral reef area where massive sea turtles take pleasure in hanging around. If we’re really lucky, we might spot a manta or two at a nearby small island from the Turtle Heaven.
-In the afternoon, there’s another opportunity for snorkelling on an island in the north side of the National Park. Famous for its current, those of you who are adrenaline junkies will enjoy drift snorkelling inbetween the island of Gili Lawa Darat and Komodo island.
-Sunset trekking to the viewpoint of the Gili Lawa Darat peak is available to those who are keen to do so.
